El Perrito Tequila

In the valley of El Volcán de Tequila, lived an old mestizo agave farmer and his little dog.
Over the years, as his senses left him, he depended on his little dog’s nose to help him harvest the ripest blue agaves from the rich red soil. One hot summer day, an ice truck broke down nearby, so the old farmer shared his tequila with the driver and a new drink was born. Soon, the entire state of Jalisco, Mexico would celebrate with his special blend of tequila. When asked about his secret recipe, he simply said
“El Perrito.”
