Château de Campuget

Château de Campuget

  • About

For 300 years, the Maigre Lugol family built Campuget by introducing this domain to the world of wine.

During the Second World War, in the north of France, Bernard Dalle was wounded by a bullet. Doctors advised him to leave Wervicq, near Lille, to seek a drier climate in the south. He abandoned the family businesses of beer and textiles.

The Northerner came to Campuget, in Manduel, an estate he acquired with his brother-in-law, Jacques Delassus, in 1941, for a winemaking adventure that he continued in 1981 with his brother François Dalle.

A world that the Dalle family has remained with to this day, with the desire to make Campuget an essential reference for Rhône Valley wines.

The choice of quality is intrinsic to Campuget wines, to express the richness of its unique terroir, in harmony with nature and respecting the environment.
